Leading the Estcourt runners home was Sbusiso Ndaba from Estcourt Athletic Club.
Mr Ndaba says that he thoroughly enjoyed this year’s up-run, even though the ‘many hills’ seemed daunting at times.
“I had no problems on the route, like cramps and I took it easy and ran at a comfortable pace,” he said.
The morning after was painful but rewarding.
“My legs are very tired today, I am not walking fine,” said Mr Ndaba with a laugh.
