Golfers tee off at Sanlam Cancer Challenge
K Donaldson, R Cattlett, H Hlongwane and T Kruger earned top honours in their respective divisions.
The local leg of the Sanlam Cancer Challenge on Saturday, saw a great turnout of 36 players competing. The club thanks all the players who competed, and everyone who helped make the day a success.
Results were as follows:
Men’s A Division: 1st K Donaldson (39 points); 2nd K Roets (37); 3rd B Francis (37).
Men’s B Division: 1st R Cattlett (38); 2nd J Botha (34); 3rd D Donaldson (33).
Ladies’ B Division: 1st H Hlongwane (37); 2nd A Raubenheimer (28); 3rd N van Huyssteen (23).
Ladies’ C Division: 1st T Kruger (27) points; 2nd D Bradbury (26).
Novelty results:
Longest drive, men: W du Plessis; longest drive, women: A Raubenheimer; nearest the pin, hole 4: W Du Plessis; nearest the pin, hole 16: H Hlongwane.
