ON February 27, we travelled to Empangeni for the first official matches in the Wintersport League.
Fortunately it was overcast, so the heat was not a great factor. Four of the netball teams won their games with a special mention of the u/14B team, who won with a convincing 20-3. Three of the rugby teams won their gmes with the first team winning 25-12 despite a very tough game.
Results: Netball: u/14A 15-4, u/14B 20-3, u/15A 11-21, u/15B 4-4, u/16A 14-9, u/16B 9-2, 2nd 5-15 and 1st 16-18. Rugby: u/14A 25-8, u/15A 14-7, u/16A 5-12, 2nd 0-8 and 1st 25-12.
Girls’ Hockey: u/14 0-1, u/16 0-2 and 2nd 0-4. Boys’ Hockey: 1st 0-0 and 2nd 1-0.
On Saturday, February 27, the girls’ first team participated in the Girls Hockey Spar challenge at St Dominic’s. We lost to Pionier 1-0, drew to Newcastle, St Dominic’s and Sarel Cilliers. We are proud of our girls.

Die reëlings vir die 29e Vryheid Nashua Rugbyweek is in volle swang. Die rugbyweek strek van 18 – 22 Maart met wedstryde op 19, 21 en 22 Maart. 18 spanne van regoor die land sal die publiek vermaak met rugby van die boonste rakke. Toegang is R10 pp en R50 per voertuig. Uitstal-stalletjies is beskikbaar teen R1000. Hier kan maatskappye hul klante onthaal en verseker wees van blootstelling in die brosjure en in die media.
