Eshowe Winter Festival

On March 12, VHS teams travelled to Eshowe to participate in their annual winter sport festival.

The first team netball played three games of which they lost two and won one. The first team rugby came third overall and won their play off 24-7. The boys’ first team hockey also achieved an overall third place while the first team girls’ hockey won the tournament as they won seven of the nine games they played! Well done, girls! With eight other schools participating this was definitely a very good learning experience for our players.

A very busy first term has come to an end and many successes were achieved. However, most impressive is that the learners have adopted the values that we have implemented this term in such a way that it has made a major difference to the general spirit of the school. We are very proud of the VHS learners and trust that we will build on this next term. Enjoy the well-deserved holiday.
