College Headmaster, Dave Cato said of the festival:

“School sport has undergone much change in recent times a with the win-at-all costs attitude often eclipsing the real reason for inter-school contests. I am proud to say the prevailing mind-set at our festival recognises the role of competitive sport in a balanced education”.
