Family Gala Day a huge success
Some were overwhelmed and burst into tears, but after lots of love and encouragement from the principal, Ms H Mirza, they participated to loud cheers from the parents
Little Butterflies Pre-School & Crèche, in collaboration with Madressah Hifazath, held their second annual Family Gala Day last Sunday on the pre-school grounds at 72 Poona Road.
The preschoolers, dressed in their house colours, sang in excited unison during their parade. The excitement grew when these little athletes entered onto the track to participate in many events such as flat races, bean bag gathering, sack races, T-shirt races, sip & go, obstacle races and the relay events.
After weeks of training, the athletes took to the track with confidence and ease. They tested their abilities against each other, and won medals and divisional trophies.

Many parents took part in the tug-of-war events, family races, ladies’ relays and fathers’ obstacle races, much to the amusement of the spectators. The management and educators of Little Butterflies Pre-School & Crèche, together with Madressah Hifazath, can be proud of their efforts in hosting a successful Family Gala Day.
