Athletes set the pace at the Midlands District Athletics trials

11 Treverton athletes competed in the Midlands District Athletics trials at the new Pietermaritzburg Athletics Stadium on January 30.

The following first places were achieved:
Ryan Stockil- u15 High Jump with a new personal best of 1.88m. This was the highlight of the day, as he did not fail one jump prior to that. His previous best being 1.80m.

Michaela Licen- u17 200m.
Sandiswa Moya- u15 400m.
Gemma Hickenbotham- u17 javelin and discus.
Byron Barnard- u17 javelin.
Wandile Mawila- u17 triple jump.
Luzuko Mahlati- u19 triple jump.
Elliot Muir- u19 discus.
