47th Sarel Rugby Day planned – and it is going to be a bumper one
Orange Grove are this year's major sponsor
The 47th annual Sarel Cilliers Rugby Day gets underway today and will be one of the biggest showcases of schoolboy rugby yet.
With a generous sponsorship from Orange Grove, organiser, Dave van der Westhuizen, said he is expecting around 70-80 teams, representing schools from various provinces, to compete.
“Big names who we expect to play include Maritzburg Boys College and Springs Boys High. Most of the schools from around Northern KZN will also be here except for Ladysmith High and Pionier who have other commitments.”

“The action will start on Friday afternoon and go through to the evening when a team from Sentraal will take on Sarel Cilliers Old Boys. This will be a great attraction and a chance to see the veterans on the field.”
On games will be streamed ‘online’ so if you are not there you will be able to watch the action at DigiTV.co.za
