Young swimmers show their mettle in district gala
The weather was warm and sunny, which was perfect for swimming
The Uthukela District Primary Schools Gala took place recently at the Town Pool.
Proud parents and friends gathered to cheer on the young competitors.
The weather was warm and sunny, which was perfect for swimming.
Learners from various schools in Ladysmith and also from out of town participated. It was excitement galore as the participants sliced through the water in their bid to finish in the top positions and set personal best times.
There was tough competition in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly events, as well as relays.
Well done to all the swimmers!
