Energetic and competitive matches at Drakensview Primary School
Funfilled rugby and netball games were in the spotlight at Drakensview Primary
Last week saw two schools visiting Drakensview Primary to participate in rugby and netball matches.

In the first netball match against Colenso Primary, the Under 11’s took on an enthusiastic team. Drakensview lost 1-7. The Under 13 team then took to the field.
A very fast, passionate game was played by the two teams. The game was hard fought with Drakensview just edging the visitors out 12-11.
The action on the rugby field against visitors Greytown Primary was just as exciting. The home Under 11 team won 20-10.
The last match of the day was the Under 13 game. All the boys played their best with many enthusiastic spectators cheering them on and the team coaches encouraging them.
The teams drew 5-5. Well done to all the players who participated in the matches. It was a very energetic and competitive afternoon of fun.
