Pupils putt and chip their way to glory

The players put their nerves aside and had a spectacular day

Recently, 10 eager junior golfers took to the Ladysmith Country Club (LCC) course for Hamilton Preparatory’s annual Junior Golf Day. They played four holes of golf and participated in a putting and chipping competition.

The players put their nerves aside and had a spectacular day! Several trophies, medals and prizes, as well as goody bags, were sponsored and received with open arms and bright smiles.

Congratulations to the following children: Callum Drew for winning the chipping competition; George MitchelInnes for winning the putting competition; Tasfia Sardiwalla and Jenne Blok for being the best girl and boy golfer respectively; and finally to Jenne for winning the Mo Moola floating trophy, with Mo Moola himself as runner-up.

A special thank you to organiser Kim Elworthy, the sponsors, staff, players and LCC for making the day a hole-in-one!
