Keegan Gevers slogs his way into KZN Inland cricket team

On the weekend of the 16th of August Keegan Gevers travelled to Winterton where he took part in the KZN Inland Trials. We are proud to say that he made the team, congratulations Keegan we wish you the best of luck!

The U11 cricket team played against NRS on the 20th of August and beat them by 23 runs.

On the 28th of August, the U13 cricket team played against Lucas Meyer’s B team and we beat them by nine wickets. Ethan Watson and Luke Minott both taking four wickets. Ethan Watson also made fifty runs while batting.

The U13 team played against Lucas Meyer’s A side on the 2nd of September and beat them by eight wickets. There was some excellent batting from Keegan Gevers who made 64 runs and Ethan Watson making 55 runs. Well done U13 side, you are playing like stars!

MINI CRICKET:

The Mini Cricket Teams took part in a tournament hosted by Lucas Meyer on Wednesday the 4th of September. They all played so well! They made many runs, bowled so well and even made a beautiful catch! The U7 Team won their match against Risen Son and lost their second match against Pongola. The U8 team beat the Lüneburg girls team and lost their second match against LMS. The U9 team won their first match against LMS and lost their second match against Pongola.
MICHAELIS CHALLENGE:

The Michaelis Challenge will be taking place this Saturday at Bloemveld Dam. This is always a fun filled family day as there is something for everyone! The weather looks good so come out and join us on Saturday. If you have not yet entered, you are welcome to enter on the day!
