Estcourt Christian Academy learners bring back gold

ECA athletes fare well at the South African Christian Schools Athletics

On September 20 and 21, five learners from Estcourt Christian Academy (ECA) travelled to Sasolburg, Johannesburg, to compete in athletics at the South African Christian Schools Athletics (SACSSA) event.

With over 1200 athletes competing, ECA is proud to announce that their learners brought home five medals; three gold, one silver and a bronze.

ECA learners Theo Eden, Tiaan Eden, Zekhethelo Dladla, Noluthando Khumalo and Sibusisiwe Malevu, who all competed in the South African Christian Schools Athletics event.

Well done to Theo Eden on winning gold for both shot put and turbo javelin, Khethelo Dladla gold for discus and silver for shot put, and Noluthando Khumalo bronze for javelin.

The athletes who took part in this event were Tiaan Eden, Theo Eden, Noluthando Khumalo, Khethelo Dladla and Sibusisiwe Mlothwa. Congratulations to them!
