An under 10 cricket tournament had young learners learning and winning

A fun morning of mini-cricket was recently held at Drakensview Primary. Young players up to U/10 participated in a tournament.

Several local primary schools were represented and their teams were eager to play.

Bowling, batting and fielding was the order of the day and everyone was a winner, as the aim of mini-cricket is to teach all the basic skills of the game.

The little ones learn good sporting manners.

A lovely surprise at the end of the morning was a tasty meal and drink for each player, kindly donated by Macksons HyperZone.
