St Gregory overcomes the Wagendrift Challenge

Learners and educators had a fun but competitive time at the Wagendrift Challenge

Sunday, February 2, began with great excitement and some nerves as the learners and educators from St Gregory Primary School headed down to Wagendrift Dam.

A fun and competitive morning was had at the dam, where the school team swam and ran like champs, doing the school proud.

Mrs Londt and Aphiwe Mbona won the senior half-biathlon, while Rachel Botha and Sonja Londt won the junior half-biathlon.

Well done to the following learners, parents and staff members who took part in the Wagendrift Challenge; the school is very proud of you and thanks you for flying the St Greg’s flag high: Huzaifa Khan, Pienaar Nel, Caleb Shaw, Sithokomele Nhlabathi, Rachel Botha, Sonja Londt, Mrs Londt, Aphiwe Mbona, Anelisa Sithole, Mr Nel, Nthabiseng Selepe, Mrs Shaw and Mrs Wortmann.

St Gregory looks forward to next year’s challenge and hopes for an even bigger team, with more staff members taking part.
