Interschool Athletics
The Interschool Athletics against Lüneburg and Wittenberg took place on February 22, and this year Michaelis was the host.
It was a sweltering hot day but this did not deter the athletes, some of who even managed to break records.
Congratulations to Nala Shabangu, who won the Junior Victor Ludorum trophy.
Michaelis would like to extend its gratitude towards Pionier High School for the use of its athletics fields and lovely facilities, and Mr Muller and his team for all their help in the week leading up to the event.
A huge thank you to the generous sponsors, Unigro and Abaqulusi SuperSpar, and the parents for their hard work – their efforts are much appreciated.
