Majuba Christmas Market this Saturday

There will be no charge for hosting a stall at the Majuba Market as a gesture of gratitude from the organisers for the support they have had through the year.

The last Majuba Market for 2013 will offer a mélange of novelty gifts, from the conventional to the quirky.

As a demonstration of goodwill and in gratitude of the ongoing support it has had through the year, the Rotary Club of Newcastle, which organises the monthly market, is inviting all exhibitors to host stalls at absolutely no charge.

The market will take place this Saturday from 9am at the Majuba Lodge grounds.

“This is our Christmas market and no charge will be made for stalls, so please come and join us with your goods and items of interest. We look forward to seeing you there,” said event organiser, Margaret Guild.

The funds raised through the Majuba Market this year have helped to feed approximately 500 children every month.

“We appreciate all the support we have had this year. It has gone a long way towards paying for the food, which is often the only meal these children get for the day,” concluded Mrs Guild.
