If it wasn’t for Nelson Mandela, our country would never have been where it is today. We could and probably would have had a lot more violence and unrest throughout our transformation. He had the special ability and understanding to make both sides love each other. We are one of the only examples ever in history of being a country that has undergone massive change without a war. I am proud of us South Africans and Madiba was our grandfather and our mentor. Your legend and your example will live on forever here in South Africa and throughout the rest of the world. Now you can start teaching the rest of the universe these important lessons you have taught us and share your love on the other side. RIP Madiba, we are going to miss you.
