Thrilling finale sees car winner announced
The main prize of a Chevrolet Orlando was finally given away.
Miss Fortune heaped luck onto Newcastillian, Tyrone Rampersadh this year.
Mr Rampersadh drove away in the stylish Chevrolet Orlando, valued at R250 000, after winning the grand draw of Blackrock Casino’s Ultimate Thrill promotion.
The exciting three-month promotion drew to a dramatic close on January 25.
A total of 24 semi-finalists entered the final round for the vehicle, and after a nail-biting whittling-down, Mr Rampersadh was announced the overall winner.
In addition to the vehicle, Blackrock Casino also gave away R59 000 in Freeplay to surprised guests.
The semi-finalists were treated to snacks and cocktails at Mid City Grill prior to the draw, and Blackrock Casino congratulated every participant in the Ultimate Thrill.
In total, the casino gave away more than R460 000 in cash, Freeplay and the Orlando over the past three months.
