New Age of Newcastle is a community group focused on helping those in need: the senior citizens, the underprivileged, disabled persons and the youth.

Many members were in need of a getaway, and as a result NAON embarked on a trip to the Forever Resort in Warmbaths. A four day and three night stay brought a lot of relaxation and relief to most of the 30 residents who joined NAON in the trip.

“Forever Resort boasts many activities,” said Veena Singh, NAON secretary. “The chalets are situated in the middle of dense greenery and shrubs, right in the wilderness.”

As well as being a nature reserve, the resort has many activities to choose from, biking, boating, archery, cable slides, outdoor chess, tennis and many pools and fun water slides.

“What NAON has brought to our senior citizens and the underprivileged can not be compared to any other,” said Ms Singh.

NAON invites the public to take part in its activities, future plans and field trips. NAON meetings are held at the War Room at 36 Asnika Crescent in Surayville, every Thursday from 10am to 1pm.
