Easter celebrated with joy
On Saturday, April 19, children from the Ingogo area celebrated Easter with fun, games and worship.
Easter weekend is in the past and the celebrations have warmed hearts and changed lives.
The Hope in Christ Child and Youth Care Centre founders, Jo-Anne and Andrew Pienaar, spent Easter Saturday enriching and empowering the youth.
On Saturday, April 19, children from the Ingogo area celebrated Easter with fun, games and worship.
“We invited about 40 children and almost 70 kids showed up,” Jo-Anne said excitedly.
The centre, which is a registered non-profit organisation, will be opening its doors later this year and will be home to 42 children. It is focused on creating a warm and safe environment for children, giving them the joy and affection they need and deserve.
