The Majuba Market has grown substantially since its inception 18 months ago.
The market opens a creative space for artists, entrepreneurs and hobby lovers to promote their work.
Irene Sydenham and Margaret Guild saw the need for a market and with the help of Majuba Lodge, the market took off with a bang. Today the market has even more to offer.
Every month, an average of 16 to 18 stalls sell their wares at the market and even more spots are available.
“The procedure is very simple. You show up, set up and enjoy the day,” said Irene Sydenham.
The R50 fee is only collected at the end of the day and all proceeds go to the Rotary Feeding Scheme.
“The Majuba Market makes only a small contribution to the Rotary Feeding Scheme, but every little bit helps,” Mrs Sydenham continued.
The next market will be at the same place, Majuba Lodge, and anyone can join in on the fun on Saturday, April 26.
