The influenza vaccine remains the primary means of preventing seasonal influenza infections and the campaign is currently under way throughout the district.
The campaign targets the following people:
Pregnant woman.
Children between the ages of six months and five years old.
People of the age 65 and older.
Children aged 6 months to 18 months old, who are receiving long term aspirin treatment.
People with any chronic diseases, such as kidney or liver failure.
Anyone infected with HIV and AIDS.
You can receive your free flu vaccine at your nearest clinic.
