Casino kicks off new facilities
With the theme for the evening titled Kick Off relating to the upcoming Soccer World Cup, guests enjoyed an entertaining evening. Blackrock Casino General Manager, Wayne Smith, welcomed guests and explained the night’s purpose was threefold.
Geared up for new ventures, Blackrock Casino held a lavish function last Wednesday evening.
With the theme for the evening titled Kick Off relating to the upcoming Soccer World Cup, guests enjoyed an entertaining evening.
Blackrock Casino General Manager, Wayne Smith, welcomed guests and explained the night’s purpose was threefold.
“We are here tonight to launch our new boardroom facilities, our 40 new rooms and to thank you for all your continued support.”
Mr Smith said while the casino boasted 80 rooms, there were further plans to expand it.
“The Indaba Conference Room has been upgraded and we will also be upgrading both MidCity Grill and the Celebrations Bar.”
After the formalities, guests partook of a culinary experience consisting of cuisine typical of some of the countries that will participate in the world cup.
