Ringing in 2015 with a bang

Dancing, divas and an unforgettable disco-themed New Year’s Eve celebration.

Guests at Blackrock Casino welcomed 2015 with entertainment, prizes and laughter all around the room.

“On December 31, our guests were welcomed with drinks and enjoyed watching our dancers,” said Blackrock Casino Promotions and Events coordinator, Rebecca Rachabane. “They danced the night away to music provided by DJ, Rowland Schubach.”

Later, there was more excitement in store for guests.

“We held a midnight draw and a number of fun activities with prizes up for grabs for those participating in the celebrations. A lucky guest who went the extra mile in preparing her outfit for the evening was awarded a ‘Best Dressed’ prize on the night.”

Guests were able to capture the last moments of 2014 in the designated ‘photo shoot’ area.

For those who preferred to start the new year on a squeaky-clean state, Blackrock provided a recuperative ‘Shredding Corner’.

“Guests could write down anything negative that happened 2014 and shred it before starting afresh in 2015,” concluded Ms Rachabane.

The staff and management of Blackrock Casino wish the community of Newcastle a pleasant, prosperous new year. May 2015 be the best year yet.
