Fundraising 2015 comes to NPO’s rescue

Have you been wondering, what will make the perfect gift worth giving your loved ones this Valentine’s Day? Well Fundraising 2015 are hosting a Valentine’s Day Craft Market at the Methodist Church on February 7.You might be wondering how this might help your Valentine’s Day gift crisis.Not only will you come across beautiful hand crafted gifts at the craft market, the person you purchase it for will definitely find the gift thoughtful. By purchasing a gift at the market you will assist Non Profit Organisations (NPO) and other local charity organisations.
Meet the team
Sherlene Gericke and Karen Prinsloo have always been passionate about helping others and giving back to the community.Sherlene has come to be known for her very edible looking candle cupcakes, and then Karen’s adorable Uthando dolls.The two bubbly characters have now teamed up and started a campaign called Fundraising 2015 to raise much needed funds. On October 4, 2014 a craft market was organised and R4 620.50 was raised for the Little Fighters Cancer Trust.Later that year a Christmas Vintage Fair was organised for the Methodist Church and approximately R6 000 was raised for the church.
2015’s fundraising team would like to thank the Estcourt community for all their support and generosity throughout 2014.Fundraising can’t be made possible without the help of the community, so be sure to stop by at the Valentine’s Day Craft Market on February 7 at the Methodist Church from 9am to 2pm.
