Raising funds for charity on Mandela Day
If you do not have any money, then bring your secondhand or used toys and drop them off
The Ladysmith Gazette – together with Marks Tyres, Sharaj Ambulance Services and ABI – will be doing their bit for Mandela Day (Saturday, July 18) at the San Marco Centre.
The Mandela Day Relay that has been advertised in previous editions of the Ladysmith Gazette has been postponed until further notice. The dynamic and friendly team will be at the San Marco Centre from 8am to 1pm. They will be collecting money and toys for the ‘Toys for Joy’ campaign, as well as other local charities.
There will be lots of entertainment on Saturday, July 18, including jumping castles, music and much more, so make sure you make a turn.
Marks Tyres will be donating the labour charges they get within the team’s 67 minutes to the campaign. If you do not have any money, then bring your secondhand or used toys and drop them off – absolutely everything will be appreciated.
