GALLERY: Action packed weekend with the Lekker Amajuba Races

The Rapportryers hosted the annual Lekker Amajuba Race last Saturday.
The event kicked off at Majuba Lodge, where 22 teams dashed off and ensured the streets of Newcastle were abuzz as they scrutinised the clues they were given.
Each clue led the teams to various venues in Newcastle, and the entrants were judged, not only how quickly they completed the race, but also on team spirit and cooperation.
While the competitors chased victory, Newcastillians were able to enjoy various activities at Majuba Lodge.
Stalls selling curios and food, inflatables for children and paintballing, as well as target practice for archery enthusiasts, were all available for residents to enjoy.
The evening ended with popular singer, Blackie Swart, performing his unique style of music.
