Cracking up with the ‘Comedy Connection’

Blackrock Casino hosted two unforgettable nights of entertainment alongside local comedian, Simphiwe Shembe on March 4 and 5.

Titled, the Simphiwe Shembe Comedy Connection, guests were treated to side splitting hilarity as he showed off his unique wit and characteristic humour.

He headlined the show effortlessly, with comicality and charm, and was supported home-grown funny men, Tsoro, Sifiso Nene, Syanda Maphumulo, Amawele Asechesterville, and Skhumba Hlophe, to name a few.

“It’s always amazing to see our local comedians rocking the stage and telling stories that only we as South Africans can relate to,” said Blackrock Casino Marketing Manager, Veneshrie Chetty.
