THE second week of the Cycle Cross Country Tour is well underway and the Viljoen brothers are gaining momentum as they edge their way closer to the 6000km mark.

“Life is a journey, enjoy the ride,” as the saying goes, and Carel and Deon Viljoen’s epic cycling adventure appears to be packed with enjoyment and even the obstacles associated with an endurance feat of this nature can’t bring them down. The brothers have been blown away by the warm hospitality and friendly reception they have encountered along the way.
