Doughnut is still looking for a home after being dumped
Doughnut was dumped with a bag of food but is now happy and looking for a new home
Dumped on a dirt road by his owner with nothing but a bag of food, things looked bleak for Doughnut.
Thankfully the doggy was rescued after a call was made to the SPCA and now Doughnut is waiting for a loving family to adopt him.
Doughnut, who appears to be a cross between a Beagle and a Basset is in good health and in good spirits.
His owner, who approached the Courier after the story broke, said that she didn’t want to take the dog to the SPCA because she understood that the SPCA would just put the dog down.
She said that she left the dog near a stream, so that he would have water, with his bag of food and a dog bowl, in the hopes that someone would adopt him.
