Newcastle’s very own export, Anthony – Eden Classens is one of the stars taking part in MNET’s Dancing With The Stars every Sunday, live at 5 pm.

Dancing with the Stars is a reality programme, with 12 dancing couples who show off their dancing techniques, creativity, outfits and chemistry, in order to win.

So far, two couples have already been voted out of the competition.

Newcastillians are now urged to stand together and vote for 26-year-old Eden and his dancing queen partner, Ash-Leigh Hunter.

This young talent is an ex-Huttenpark Primary School Head Boy, and he is most certainly is a star to be reckoned with!

Not only is he a talented dancer, he also forms part of the Afrikaans soapie, Suidooster cast.

More about Eden and Ash-Leigh:

Eden moved to New York City to study musical theatre and acting at the New York Film Academy.

Eden graduated after two years and became a model, travelling abroad to Milan, London, and New York for fashion weeks.

He has appeared in various films, including Rowwe Diamante, Reload, and Revolt.

He also completed his BA in Live Performance at AFDA Cape Town, and now stars in the Afrikaans soap Suidooster.

Ash-Leigh Hunter developed her love for music by participating in jazz and ballet from the age of four, and found her passion for ballroom and Latin dancing at the age seven.

She was a Junior Latin British finalist and was crowned Junior British Jive Champion at the Blackpool Championships.

Ash-Leigh has danced for the likes of Deep Purple, Pixie Lott, Samantha Jade, and John Paul Young, and also performed in the musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
