Advertorial: Don’t miss the Ladysmith Show this weekend

The line-up guarantees top-drawer entertainment

Ladysmith’s highlight on the social calendar, the Ladysmith Show, is scheduled for May 10, 11 and 12.

It will be a weekend when all roads, even from out of town, will lead to our town’s focal point at the Indoor Sports Complex. The Show Committee has outlined a programme that will gratify different cultures, palates, styles and whims to ensure that this year’s show carves a niche as far as event management and entertainment is concerned.

The programme entails a profusion of entertainment – melodious songs to keep your feet tapping, or rhythms to knock your socks off, and dances that will nudge show-goers to gyrate to pulsating beats.

There will be competitions like Show & Shine, Sound competition, the ever-popular potjie challenge, and the one and only bunny chow competition.

The spectrum of artistes that will rock the stage include Tipcee, Ruan Josh, Franja du Plessis Mshoza, Roshan Ramkissoon’s Dance Academy, Umita Kalyan, Preetesh Singh, Leon Mack Ramsamy, Suraj Jeevan (who has enthralled Gauteng) and of course the inimitable Tansen Nepaul.

The line-up guarantees top-drawer entertainment.
There will also be fun rides for adrenaline junkies and food stalls to satisfy hunger pangs or quench thirsts.
An abundance of stalls will attract the most discerning shopper, and there will be rides for the little ones and items for all to enjoy.
