Monday Muse – Strange cat shocks small town
Cat asks for R5 to get a lift to Ladysnith

The sighting of a strange cat in the small town of Dannhauser has left many shocked and others scared.
The Ginger Tabby, who called himself Tibbles, was spotted outside Pep Stores begging for money, by meowing at passing strangers. Tibbles said that he was originally from Johannesburg, but was trying to get to Ladysmith where he was supposed to meet his brother.
“The lift I managed to hitch a ride with stopped here in Dannhauser and I just need R5 more to catch a bus to Ladysmith,’ he said.
Many though, are skeptical of Tibbles’ story, saying that he’s been hanging around for a few days now and surely must have made more than R5 by now.
Others say that Tibbles smelt strongly of catnip and they were worried that he would use the money to buy more.
One lady said she was concerned that Tibbles was a cat burglar who had come to prey on the small towns.
