The Education Department in South Africa has recently come under fire after a woman in Dundee asked ‘How much is double?’
The woman in question, had won double tickets in a competition, but didn’t know how much double was.
“At first I was like, it must be four. Then I was like, it must be two. So eventually I just Googled the answer and found out that it’s what you say when you call a two game in Thunee,” the woman said.
When approached for comment, Bodmas Buthelezi, the Media Liaison Officer for the Department, said that there was nothing wrong with the state of education in the country and that any problem could be easily fixed by dropping the pass rate.
When asked how much double is, Mr Buthelezi responded by saying that it was clearly when you ordered extra brandy and coke at the bar.
