Lara is set to treat locals to a new solo piano recital with music from Germany, Spain, France and Russia

Wear your best for a sparkly affair and great conversation as pianist and performance poet, Lara Kirsten makes her way to Estcourt.

She has been based in the Midlands for five years, from where she travels for her concert tours. Lara is set to treat locals to a new solo piano recital with music from Germany, Spain, France and Russia.

Lara has performed at many music festivals such as the FynArts Festival in Hermanus and the Michaelhouse Music Festival, to name a few. She also teaches the piano from her home.

Lara’s poetry has been published in the South African Literary Journal New Contrast.

She will be performing live at 20 Jannie de Waal Avenue in Drakensview at 5.30pm for 6pm on August 4. Discretionary donations will be welcomed with recommended amounts of R100 or more for adults and children (under 18) or pensioners (over 65) R50. A plate of eats to share, as well as other beverages, would be appreciated by the host family.
Coffee, tea and cool drinks will be provided.
