Rotary Parys brought smiles to the faces of residents of the Epilepsy Free State/North Centre in Parys, and the Mokwallo Disability Centre in Vredefort with two projects called the Beanie Brigade & Cupcake Crusade, and Beanies, Blankets and Blessings, making a difference one smile at a time.

Warm hearts in the winter cold

While beanies and cupcakes were handed out at the Epilepsy Centre, the residents of the Disability Centre were surprised with blankets, beanies, bathroom necessities and cookies, wrapping hearts in warmth, care and a little sweetness.

Rotary also handed out certificates of appreciation to the dedicated staff at the Mokwallo Disability Centre. Special thanks to Dalene Bester, Yvonne Aucamp and Elmarie Trytsman for their contribution towards the Rotary outreach to these centres.
