The call that changed everything
His honesty brought tears of joy as woman reclaims lost phone.
On Monday Cornelia Janse van Rensburg from Parys lost her cell phone in Loop Street in front of a local dental practice. When she later discovered that her phone was missing, the practice phoned her number to try and locate the phone.
Much to their surprise the phone was answered by 39-year-old Sello Kholomonyane, who heard the phone ringing in the street as he was passing by. He rushed to answer it fearing that a car would drive over it or that someone could take it.

The phone was safely returned to Cornelia who was overwhelmed with joy to find her phone with all her photos and info, unharmed.
“I believe if something does not belong to you – it is not yours,” says a humble Sello.
“I felt so relieved to return the phone to the rightful owner. Seeing her smile made my heart happy. I knew, I did something good,” Sello told Gazette.
A good deed indeed goes a long way!
