Primary school drum majorettes from Schonkenville Intermediate School recently excelled with first place for flag and second place for large drill for their participation in the Ngwathe Cluster Drum Majorettes competition.

The secondary school drum majorettes proudly won three first positions for small drill, baton and flag, as well as second position for large drill and Pom Non. Both squads then participated at district level, with the Primary School drummies winning 3rd place for flag and second place for large drill.

The Secondary School squad came first in small drill and baton, second in large drill and Pom Non, and third in flag.
