A SAPS Task Force member died in a suspected parachute accident at the Potchefstroom military base this morning (25 July). Police spokesperson, Colonel Athlenda Mathe confirmed that the SAPS management is mourning the loss of a member attached to the Special Task Force(STF) Unit however wishes not to discuss the matter further in the media pending an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the member.
