SS Paki’s deputy principal, Mr Mkumbeni Themba, was acknowledged as the best matric educator for his contribution, enabling the school to achieve the second-best position for accounting in the Fezile Dabi region.

Sebe Teboho was acknowledged for being the overall best achiever in Physical Science in the Fezile Dabi district.

Among the guests of honour were Mr Ishmael (principal of Vredefort Primary School), Capt. Ramotshilisi (Vredefort SAPS), Ms Victoria de Beer-Mthombeni (Ngwathe executive mayor), Mr Mangoejane (CES for governance and management in the Fezile Dabi education district), Mr Moloi Bricks (PS of Sadtu) and Mr Legopo (principal of SS Paki School).
