Ingredients
- 1 Ripe banana, mashed
- 2 Cups white chocolate chips (or milk/dark chocolate chips for variation)
- ½ Cup sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ Cup unsalted butter
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- ½ Teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ Cup chopped nuts (optional, for texture)
Instructions
- Line a square pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
- Heat over low-medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the mashed banana, salt, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- If using, fold in the chopped nuts for added texture.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
- Smooth the top with a spatula and tap the pan gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
- Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment or foil overhang.
- Cut into squares and serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
