Man dies in N12 collision

A man believed to be in his 20’s was killed in a collision between the vehicle he was driving and a truck earlier today.

The collision took place on the N12 in the direction  of Johannesburg at the R54 turnoff heading towards Vereeniging, about 5km from Potchefstroom earlier today.

When ER24 paramedics as well as Fire and Rescue Services arrived on  the scene they found the man still trapped in the vehicle.

He was assessed. Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for him, declaring him dead.
