ER24 paramedics were able to rescue a goat, dog with her seven puppies this afternoon from an abandoned house on Fairway Road in Ruimsig, west of Johannesburg.

ER24 paramedics were able to rescue a goat, dog with her seven puppies this afternoon from an abandoned house on Fairway Road in Ruimsig, west of Johannesburg.

Paramedics received reports that a number of animals had taken shelter in a nearby abandoned house.
On arrival, paramedics found that a goat, dog with seven puppies had taken shelter in the garden. It was apparent that the animals had not been fed for some time.
Paramedics were able to contact the property owner with the help of a member of the public.
Gaining access to the property, paramedics were able to retrieve all the animals and bring them to the roadside.A family member of one of them medics was able to take the animals to a nearby vet for further care.
It is understood that the property has been abandoned for some time.
