Quick respons to fix R59’s potholes

Dangerous potholes on the R59 between Vereeniging and Parys after heavy rain the past two weeks, were fixed on Monday morning.

Although it was arranged to be fixed last week already, material was only received on Friday. Early Monday morning the team was on site.

A huge thank you to the Department of Community Safety, Roads & Transport Fezile Dabi, and especially the department’s chief engineer, Evodia Phalatfe,  Mr James Nkabinde, Free State roads department’s chief roads superintendent in the Fezile Dabi region, and Benedict Nakedi, the department’s Roads Superintendent for Ngwathe and Metsimaholo, for their commitment to ensure road safety and their quick respons to address the issue.
