The community of Tumahole Parys proudly showcased their talent and different cultures with a competition at the the Methodist Church in Tumahole.

Participants could enter in various categories including poetry, drama, singing and dancing, says King Michael, organiser of the event.
He said the event was aimed at celebrating mother tongue language, to unify different culture groups and give younger people the opportunity to showcase their talent. The kids also received some bags to take home.

The idea is to include more participants of all culture groups in future competitions. Businesses and individuals who wish to join hands and sponsor this initiative should contact 063 990 9838.
