Project brings light to Mokwallo and Tumahole residents

For many of these residents it will be the first time that they will have electricity in their houses.

The Ngwathe Local Municipality again requested residents to report illegal connections or damages to electricity meters to councillors. This follows the handing over of electricity supply projects to residents of Abazimele in Tumahole, and Ext 4 in Mokwallo.

The mayor said the projects are in line with commitments made during the State of the Municipality Address. The projects entail electricity supply to 85 sites in Abazimele in Ward 11, and electricity to 375 sites for beneficiaries in Mokwallo’s Ext4.
