FS Police seeks relatives of unidentified deceased man
The police appeals to anyone with information to come forward and assist the family and investigators in bringing closure to this matter.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Free State is appealing to members of the public for assistance in tracing the relatives of an unidentified man who passed away in hospital following a pedestrian-vehicle collision.
On November 30, 2025, an unknown male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the M10 road near Heidedal Cemetery, Bloemfontein. The man sustained serious injuries and was transported to Pelonomi Hospital for medical treatment. He succumbed to his injuries on December 10, 2025.
Members of the Mangaung Detectives are currently investigating a Culpable Homicide case surrounding the incident and are seeking the deceased man’s relatives to assist with the identification and notification process.

The deceased is estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old. He was of slender build, had a dark complexion and naturally short hair.
