The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (Ryla) camp provides leadership, citizenship and personal growth training experiences for potential leaders.
Rotary’s closest 2018 Ryla camp will be held at On Track Adventures on a farm close to Hobhouse in the Free State from Thursday 1 March to Sunday, 4 March.
The host this year, the Rotary Club of Ladybrand, is charging R1200 per person for the entire weekend. This includes accommodation, all meals, a host of activities and guest speakers. Delegates are responsible for their own transport arrangements, travel costs and pocket money.
They must be in Grade 10 or 11 and not have attended a Ryla Camp previously.
Take a look at the fun experiences at Life  Adventures last year on the Facebook group, ‘RYLA Parys 2017’. For full details, to download application forms, how to pay and a list of things to bring, go to the Rotary Club of Parys’ website https://domerunners.vdome.co.za/ryla-camp/.
Once again, the Rotary Club of Parys is donating scholarships to local learners with good references. If you have a potential young leader in mind, please contact Murray or Renee on 071 448-4332.
Rotary is an organisation of leaders and volunteers; people of action and service, who make a difference in their local communities.  If you would like more information, or have any queries please contact the secretary at RotaryParys@gmail.com.
