Power outage in Vyfhoek and the Bult

The Tlokwe municipality has released a statement about a power outage in Vyfhoek tomorrow (Thursday) between 8:00 and 17:00 and again on the Bult on Sunday 24 July 2016.

The Tlokwe municipality has released a statement about a power outage in Vyfhoek tomorrow (Thursday) between 8:00 and 17:00 and again on the Bult on Sunday 24 July 2016.

Council spokesperson, Willie Maphosa says the Vyfhoek outage involves a new development at the traffic light at Technical High School and Wilge High School. A new substation is to be added to the new Total garage.
Maphosa explained that the shutdown in Steve Biko Avenue on the Bult on Sunday is necessary to move the cables to the new substations as part of the Bult upgrade project.
“In both cases, residents are warned that they should remain careful and continue to treat all electrical circuits as live throughout the process.
“The municipality regrets any inconvenience that may be caused to residents during the process as this eventuality is unavoidable,” he said.
